To make it easier for me to differentiate between blocks that I would shoot during a single outing, I would often take a throw-away photo of the ground. This acted as a visual bookmark when looking at all my photos as to when one block ended and the next began...without me having to depend on memory alone. I felt the collection of these unintentional photos created an interesting body of work in their own right.
