Fillmore Pl Between Roebling St and Driggs Ave

Brooklyn, for me, is embodied by one word: Colorful. I mean this both literally and metaphorically. I'm always delighted by the almost-colorblind paint jobs of stoops, doors and graffiti. When compared to Manhattan, with it's endless grays, blues and subtle tones, Brooklyn simply pops out. Add in all the interesting people and you have a far more photogenic borough than anything Midtown has to offer.

The way this street was laid out, I felt like I was on a movie set. It was as-if someone had thought out what a 'city block' had to look like, and threw in every type of building, element and color. Of course, being a movie set, it couldn't go on forever, so it's bookended by two perpendicular streets.

I was pleased to see Nynex still had a presence on this street...anything to avoid the Verizon logo is a good thing in my book.
