White St Between Lafayette St and Broadway

This small side street has a lot of hidden character.  As I was first walking down it, I was having a hard time finding interesting tid bits to photograph, but as I progressed small elements began to pop out at me – little pieces of ephemera. I was pleased to encounter a small alley/street in the middle of the block (Courtlandt Alley).  Which for me, finding a random and unexpected alley is like an addict finding a pile of hypodermic needles: Possibly dirty, but full of potential.

The block livens up a bit past Courtlandt Alley and there seems to be more light as one get closer to Broadway.  There's only a handful of stores on this stretch, but it may be worth a visit just for the little, hidden gems.
