West St Between Harrison St and Chambers St

This was a really unique street to walk down. On one side you have the West Side Highway (curiously named West St at this point) and on the other, a long construction canopy, inexplicably elevated several feet off the ground. I though the photos for this street were going to be a wash – it seemed like they would only be of this construction site, and maybe some blurry shots through the fencing of the street. Luckily for me, the block is laughably long.
After the construction (which, admittedly, yielded some interesting shots), there's a bit of a lull as one comes up to the imposing Tribeca Bridge. This pedestrian bridge has always struck me as something that would fit better in London, than in New York. But I can't complain, it offers up plenty of little unique elements to photograph, and I'll never turn that down.
