37th St Between Park Ave and Madison Ave

Going between Park and Madison, it's no surprise to find an endless row of high-end apartments (condos?) with fancy front steps and adornments. While there's nothing of note worth visiting here, there are some nice architectural details which pop out if you're looking for them.

What I find particularly interesting is what a middle-ground this area is: It's almost exactly between Grand Central and the Empire State Building. So, depending on where you're standing you can find yourself with an interesting view of either.

Towards the end of the block I came across a 1950's Chevy pickup truck, which I swore I've seen downtown before.
