Hester St Between Orchard St and Eldridge St

When I visit streets like Hester, I often wonder where they rank in terms of how many people have walked on them.  For instance, if 42nd St is #1 in rank (as it's probably the most-walked street in the city), small ones like this must be way near the bottom of the list.

Since my starting point at Orchard offered up only a short, little stretch, I decided to continue across Allen and on to Eldridge. However, I almost didn't need to since near the corner of Allen and Hester was some store selling lobsters and such. And, in what I can only call the most brilliant thing I had ever seen, the front window was part of the tank...literally the glass on the street made up the front wall that the lobsters were up against. I know, it's not terribly groundbreaking (it was even a little skeevy looking), but I could have photographed this for hours.

I should also point out the rare "how a crosswalk works" sign on the corner...which immediately reminded me of the outdated one I saw up near 81st St a while back.
