69th St Between Central Park West and Columbus Ave

Nestled up next to the park, hiding between larger thoroughfares, this block is mainly all residential, and all expensive-looking.

While most every building seems to be of considerable age, the conditions in which they exist vary a great deal. Some are in immaculate condition, either the result of good care, or recent restoration. While others are literally crumbling to the ground. There's much character to be found, and it's interesting to compare the type of character depending on the condition of the building. While the pristine ones are certainly nice, it's the crumbling ones, with damage and funky signage that attracted my eye. Those seem to tell much more of a story than the ones that, while beautiful, seem to have been built yesterday.
