9th Ave Between 22nd St and 20th St

I'm not sure when the world's most special bike lane was put in here, but it had to be within the past few years (please correct me if I'm wrong). Taking up a solid 1/3rd of the street, the bike lane is flanked on either side with it's own curbs and stoplights.

I visited the block later one evening, so it was pretty dead around here. A few of the corner shops were open, and people seemed to be walking around with the intent of going to dinner.

The large construction site between 21st and 20th is wrapped with a neon-green plywood shelter which wouldn't be out-of-place in The Weather Channel studios.
