6th Ave Between 16th St and 18th St

These lively blocks could potentially send you into shock if you're not careful. Store after store, alongside street vendors and flea markets, alongside architectural styles which span decades...it's almost as much to take in as Times Square, but without as much advertising.

I visited here on a particularly warm Saturday, which meant that everybody and their second cousin were out and about as well. Pushing through the crowds I felt like I down in SoHo...not the normally-open streets of Chelsea. However, because of that, it's definitely a great place to people-watch...or at least people-glance.
