37th St Between 9th Ave and 8th Ave

Ever wonder where all the hot dog carts come from?  It seems safe to bet that many of them originate here. Walking down this street, I ran into a sea of un-manned carts getting loaded up with soda and water and several being dragged down the mainly empty street. The smell of food floated through the air – which was a mix of pretzels, charcoal and hot dog water. Though, who needs all that when Gray's Papaya is sitting just at the end of the block?

The rest of the block is filled with construction- dueling sites across the street from each other create for a rather narrow passageway.
