22nd St Between 7th Ave and 8th Ave

There's a distinct feeling of being watched while going down this block, and I'd attribute it to the absurd number of faces on the front of the buildings. It seems everywhere you looked, another old doorway was being graced with some odd face looking in various directions.

Besides the creepy overtones the street is very quiet and calm, with a canopy of trees overhead. The sidewalks are very narrow, both because of the stoops justting out from the buildings and because of the trees sitting right in the middle.
