25th St Between Broadway and 6th Ave

A funky little block, this stretch of 25th acts as a gateway as you transition from the wide-open space of Madison Square Park to the regular grid of New York. With plenty of old buildings and shops, it's nice to see a lot of the old details remain, even if they are a bit dirty.

The block would be decidedly quiet if not for the flea market that takes over a parking lot on Saturdays. There's also an antique shop or two around here, not to mention a Gracious Home store – so plenty of opportunity to dress up your one-room apartment.

Of course, with flea markets come people, and there were quite a few interesting ones that I ran into. One guy was selling all sorts of skulls and related skeleton items. I also ran into a magician/performer of sorts who was doing some pretty impressive card tricks.

So yeah, I was entertained by this street to say the least.
