William St Between Pine St and Exchange Pl

As just another skinny street amongst hundreds just like it, this stretch of William St is very unassuming until, about halfway down, you realize it runs right through the main stretch of Wall Street.

With very few features, the blocks here are very quiet. And on the weekends, they are especially dead – with hardly even a tourist in sight. It almost feels as if you've entered an amusement park (albeit a boring one) after hours and you can ride every roller coaster as many times as you'd like. But then, you come back down to reality and find that the only thing of interest here is some re-paved cobblestone streets, and architectural details so small and high up that only the birds can appreciate them.
