46th St Between Madison Ave and 5th Ave

I was surprised by how quiet this street was considering what intense shopping avenues flank it. With nothing more notable than a Men's Warehouse on the east end of the block, it really is unmistakably midtown in nature.

The tall buildings all tower above, with few noteworthy details. Different architectural styles sit shoulder to shoulder, while the storefronts on the ground floor all mesh into one, indistinguishable blob.

You can hear the roar of 5th Avenue, with all the shoppers, from about halfway down the street. Getting closer, you can see what you're in for as the massive Build-A-Bear store comes into view. Several street vendors sit on the corner -tossing a water bottle back and forth, hoping not to miss any business.
