53rd St Between 6th Ave and 5th Ave

This block is perhaps best-known as home to the MoMA (and it's related offices and stores). Coming from the wide open space of 6th avenue, it feels awfully cramped, especially with CBS' Black Rock building starting off the street on a rather dark note.

While the MoMA is certainly a fantastic museum, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting, for my money their secondary gallery out in Queens, PS1 is far more fun.

I almost lost it laughing when at the end of the block I found 666 5th Avenue sat directly across from St.Thomas Church. I wonder if any of the parishioners noticed the devil was right next door.
