65th St Between 2nd Ave an 3rd Ave

The fancy apartments and shops that line this block only serve to accentuate the sheer blandness around here. While a lot could be said about how "nice" and "quiet" this street is, when it comes down to it, it's really just boring. Allow me to reverse the famous saying: It's a nice place to live, but I wouldn't want to visit. To me, it seems to fit perfectly.

Perhaps I'm being unfair.  With lots of trees, a rather wide sidewalk, and plenty of babbling fountains, it's certainly not an unpleasant experience to stroll down this block on a Sunday morning. But if endless stretches of gray sidewalk and concrete walls aren't your thing, then you won't be missing much.
