77th St Between 2nd Ave and 3rd Ave

Two blocks from one of the areas most crowded subway stations, this dense block of apartments and commerce is teeming with activity. With just about everything you could ever need contained within just a few hundred feet, living here is like living in a microcosm of your own. There's a very "lower east side" vibe to the block as well - especially considering how "high end" the area is normally know to be. There's just a lot of character.

While the east side of the block is rather local - not even a chain in sight - the west side is teeming with bigger companies like Halstead Properties, Capital One, Charles Schwab and so-on. Even the apartments get bigger on that end of the street. It's a rather startling transformation.
