York Ave Between 73rd St and 71st St

Primarily defined by the imposing Sotheby's building on 72nd Street these few blocks represent a shift from the apartment heavy streets to the north and the hospital dominated ones to the south. A handful of grocery and liquor stores sit across from a high-rise apartment building which is one of the last places you can live around here before the the endless line of hospitals take over.

It seems appropriate that a major street like 72nd sits between these two very different areas. It's not often that the street grid conforms to the trending of neighborhoods.
