Roosevelt Ave Between 58th St and 60th St

Sitting at the apex of no fewer than 5 different streets, the heart of Woodside is split in two by an overwhelming elevated Subway line. While Woodside Avenue benefits from open sky above, Roosevelt Avenue must endure the constant shadow of the 7 train. The trade off here, however is that Roosevelt Avenue has a constant stream of people to feed local businesses. By comparison Woodside Avenue is much quieter and slower-paced.

Where the two avenues meet you have two small squares with some burgeoning trees and handy benches.  There's a lot of awkwardly-placed crosswalks to maneuver around thanks to all the intersections, so watch yourself if you're playing stickball or something equally bizarre.
